Who we serve

We support, regulate and enhance the rich diversity of the Commonwealth’s agricultural community to promote economically and environmentally sound food safety and animal health measures, and fulfill agriculture’s role in energy conservation and production.

We also serve the public looking for Massachusetts grown and produced products. Visit our gateway to MassGrown farm products, specialty foods, and fun ag-tivities!

In July 2017, MDAR began migrating its website content into this new Mass.gov format. While this process is underway, some pages will remain on the classic site: see all MDAR programs and services on classic Mass.gov.
