The Details

Features

EOTSS offers complete suite of data circuits to connect to the Commonwealth network.  

This service is available to any Commonwealth agency that has the need to access Commonwealth networks and/or applications. 

Once you submit your request, a Network Administrator will contact you to confirm the order and estimated timelines for your deployment.  An EOTSS representative will confirm the costs via a BAR (Business Application Request) process to identify all monthly chargeback fees and associated one-time fees (if any). 

If you need to modify or disconnect an existing circuit, please use the Circuits - Request Upgrade \ Downgrade \ Disconnect Catalog item.

Service Level Expectation (SLE)

Circuit - Add New

SLEResponsibilities/Dependencies

Fulfillment: Within 5-8 months*

*PLEASE BE ADVISED: If an infrastructure/fiber build is required prior to circuit installation, this timeline may increase to a total of up to 150 business days.

SLE breakdown can be found below:

  • Network and WiFi Site Survey: 30 days
  • Circuit Installation Time: 90 days to 6 months (once site survey approved and BAR signed)
  • Network and WiFi Equipment Acquisition: 3 to 5 months (once site survey approved and BAR signed)
  • Network and WiFi Configuration and Installation: 45 days

  • Responsible for the following Network and WiFi tasks per the customer’s requirements:
    • Site survey 
    • Configuration
    • Equipment procurement
    • Configuration and installation

Vendor

  • This service is dependent on vendor availability.
  • Responsible for confirming the following regarding circuit installation with EOTSS:
    • Cabling
    • Cooling
    • Power
    • When racks are ready for installation
