If you apply without setting up a meeting, MassDEP may require one anyway before it can determine whether your application is administratively complete.

    To help ensure that Environmental Justice (EJ) populations are notified that you are seeking an air permit with the potential to affect them, and are meaningfully involved in the agency review process, MassDEP is directing you to submit along with your Major or Non-Major CPA-PROCESS application a draft two- to four-page Fact Sheet providing details about your proposed project and neighboring communities.

    Please Note:

    • If you are a new user, you will need to create an EEA ePLACE Portal account first.
    • When submitting your application online, please attach your EJ Fact Sheet (described in Step 3 above) as a supporting document. Select "Other" as the category and enter "Fact Sheet" in the description.
