What you need   for Filed Sub-Bidder Joint Venture

A Joint Venture Certificate of Eligibility is valid only for the specific project identified on the Joint Venture Certificate of Eligibility.

At least one Joint Venture participant must be certified by DCAMM in the Category of Work for which certification is sought. The Joint Venture share of the individual venturer certified in the requested Category of Work must be at least 30 percent.

A Joint Venture as an entity must be certified to bid.  All participants must be currently certified by DCAMM in order to be eligible for Joint Venture Certification.

At least one Joint Venture participant must be certified by DCAMM in the Category of Work for which certification is sought. The Joint Venture share of the individual venturer certified in the requested Category of Work must be at least 30 percent.

  1. Submit Joint Venture Online Application

  2. Submit Filed Sub-Bidder Certificates of Eligibility for each participant

    For a Joint Venture to be eligible for certification in a specific category, at least one participant must be certified in the requested category, and the proportionate share of that individual participant must be at least 30%.

  3. Submit Completed Filed Sub-Bidder Update Statements for each participant

  4. Submit Executed Joint Venture Agreement

    Pre-bid agreements are not acceptable.  The agreement signed by an authorized signatory for each venturer. Each signature must be witnessed.

    The agreement must contain the following:

    a) The name of the joint venture (e.g. ABC Construction/XYZ Construction, A Joint Venture)
    b) The name and address of the managing partner
    c) A breakdown of the proportionate shares of each participant in the Joint Venture (i.e. the percentage interest in profits and assets or respective share in losses and liabilities that result from the venture). The dollar value of each participant’s share of the venture may not exceed the participant’s individual single project and aggregate limits by more than 30%.
    d) The following clause: “Notwithstanding any agreements between the joint venturers, each party of the joint venture shall be jointly and severally responsible to the owner for all contractual undertakings of the joint venture.”
