    Except for those that held MassDEP Class A Recycling Permits as of February 27, 2004, facilities are required to file a one-time notification with the agency before beginning on-site recycling activities. 

    On-Site Class A Recycling may involve burning waste oil/used oil fuel in approved space heaters; solvent recovery in free-standing distillation units; or silver recovery using stand-alone units not subject to 310 CMR 71.000.
