How to register Register for Buyer Training
Executive Department Employees
Unless otherwise noted, Commonwealth employees must register using MassAchieve, the Commonwealth's learning management system.
Use the Quick Reference Guide (QRG) to look up and register for classes.
Municipalities and other Non-Executive State Department Personnel
To register for OSD training courses, sign up for a course in our learning management system, GoToTraining.

Customized Training Sessions – Virtual and On-Site
OSD’s training catalogs for buyers and vendors include information about state procurement, Statewide Contracts, and COMMBUYS. In addition to our standard course curriculum, the OSD Training Unit also offers customized training sessions for our buyer and vendor communities.
OSD’s requirements for customized training are simple: provide at least 12 staff members and meeting space (unless the meeting will be virtual). The OSD Training Unit will do the rest – even merging course topics to meet the specific needs of your organization. Express interest by completing the OSD On-Site Training Request Form. Send questions to OSDTraining@mass.gov.
Inclement Weather – Cancellation Policy
Training will be cancelled if any of the following occur:
- Non-essential government workers have been advised to stay home or if the State Office Buildings are closed due to inclement weather.
- If the public schools are closed in the city where the session is being conducted due to inclement weather.
If you are registered for training on a stormy day, please check your local weather forecasts and the mass.gov website for Weather Alerts. The Massachusetts Alerts app is currently available for iOS (Apple) and Android platforms. Download it today by searching for "Massachusetts Alerts" on the App Store or Android Market.
