How to update Request a Duplicate License or an Address Change on your License (Plumbers, Gas Fitters and LP)
Requests for a duplicate license, address change, or name change can be filed in DOL's licensing portal.
To file these requests online, you'll need:
- To either log into an existing account on DOL's licensing portal, ePLACE, or create a new account and link your license to the new account. If you need further instructions regarding linking your license, see here.
Once you've logged into the ePlace licensing portal and ensured that the license you wish to update is linked to the account:
- Select the Manage Licenses, Permits & Certificates tab
- Click on the Amendment link in the Action column in the table that displays licensing information
- Read the instructions and follow further prompts to execute a name change, address change or duplicate license amendment request

If you wish to update your contact information, including the mailing address to which the Board will send a new duplicate license, you can do so in the ePlace portal. Note that updating your contact information does not alter the information on your license.
To do so, first either log into an existing account on DOL's licensing portal, ePLACE, or create a new account and link your license. If you need further instructions regarding linking your license, see step 7 in this document.
Once you've logged in:
- Select the Manage Licenses, Permits & Certificates tab
- Click on the Edit link under the row titled Action in the table that displays licensing information.
- Update the contact information, ensuring you are updating the appropriate contact if there are multiple contacts listed.
- Click the Save and Close button
