Plumbing Code Listening Session Scheduled for April 14, 2022

Written submissions may be submitted via first-class mail to the address above or in e-mail to: plumbingboard@mass.gov. To ensure adequate time for review by the Board, please make these submissions to the Board prior to April 11, 2022.

Who we serve
We serve to protect the public by ensuring that the plumbers and gas fitters hired are educated and fully licensed.
The Board of State Examiners of Plumbers and Gas Fitters regulates these trades according to state laws and Board regulations. The Board holds exams and issues licenses for journeyman and master plumbers, journeyman and master gas fitters, and LP and LTD Gas. It also registers apprentice plumbers and gas fitters and issues corporate and partnership certificates for plumbing and gas, and holds public hearings for code amendments and variances, approves dual and elevated gases and plumbing and gas products.
