What you need   for Request a License Verification or Certified License History Document: Public Accountancy

Please be aware if you wish to request a verification of your license or Certificate of Regulatory Boards we will no longer accept paper/mailed requests. All requests must be submitted online through our e-place portal system. Please follow the instructions below to submit an E-request for verification of licensure:

  1. Log in to your account or create an account on the E-place Portal.
  2. Click on the Manage Licenses, Permits, Certificates.
  3. File an online application (accept terms).
  4. Click on License Verification Request/ Certification.
  5. Select the Board for your license:
    1. License Type
    2. Last Name
    3. Contact (phone or email)
  6. List any special instructions.
  7. Certificate of Regulatory Board Form requests, please upload form in the documents section. If applicable.
  8. Review information for final submission.
  9. Pay Fee.

Please note that the above-listed public information is also available, free of charge, through the Division of Occupational Licensure’s public “Check a License” database.

The Board does not complete licensing verification forms from licensing authorities in other states or jurisdictions and provides only the above-listed public information to requestors.

Please note that a convenience fee may be assessed for all online credit card transactions. There is no fee for online payment by check.

How to request   Request a License Verification or Certified License History Document: Public Accountancy

To request or obtain a certified license verification document from the Board, please submit a request through the ePLACE portal. Please note that if you do not already have an account you will be required to create one prior to submitting your request.

When submitting your request, please indicate whether you would like an electronic copy (PDF) e-mailed to you or a hard copy mailed to you or a licensing authority in another state or jurisdiction. If you are requesting a hard copy, please provide a valid mailing address.
