Submit a Massachusetts Direct Wine Shipper Annual Report

All Direct Wine Shippers must submit an annual report - even if they did not ship any wine within the previous year. To submit, you will need the following:

• Your Massachusetts Direct Wine Shipper license ID. This can be found on your current certificate. DWS license ID numbers are formatted DS-LIC-######.
• If you shipped any wine to a Massachusetts consumer in the previous year, your customer shipping information must be in a spreadsheet and contain the following column headers (across the top of the spreadsheet), in this particular order:
  • Salutation
  • First Name
  • Middle Name
  • Last Name
  • Suffix
  • Street Number
  • Street Name
  • Address Line 2
  • City or Town
  • State
  • Zip Code
  • Total Number of Gallons Shipped
  • Total Value of Wine Shipped
  • Date Shipped
• Your completed spreadsheet must be saved as a comma-separated file ("CSV") in order to upload it into our system. For full instructions on creating a CSV file, please visit https://www.mass.gov/media/1941586/download or use our template here: ABCC DWS Report Template CSV
• Please note, your file should not contain a header column or any blank rows. If your data does not include salutations, middle names, or the second line of an address, do not delete those columns.

We hope that this process will allow you to utilize your current computer systems to upload the data. If for some reason you need to upload additional names or change previously submitted information, please be sure that ALL of the original information that is correct is also included in your file, as the system will automatically purge the first file if a second file is submitted. In other words, our system will only keep one spreadsheet for each licensee each year.
