Important Note
Registration of Solid Waste Facility Third-Party Inspectors During the COVID-19 Pandemic Based on the Governor’s March 18, 2020, Executive Order Extending The Registration Of Certain Licensed Professionals, MassDEP previously extended Third-Party Inspector (TPI) registrations until 90 days after termination of the State of Emergency. That extension of TPI registrations is revised pursuant to the Governor’s June 26, 2020, issuance of COVID-19 Executive Order No. 41, which rescinded and superseded the March 18 Executive Order.
MassDEP extended until October 1, 2020, the registrations for TPIs that were due to expire before July 10, 2020.
TPIs with registrations due to expire on or after July 10, 2020, were required to submit their renewals/updates in the usual manner.
MassDEP is currently processing renewals/updates and new applications within normal timeframes.
As a reminder, TPI registrations must be updated every two years. Questions? Email: thomas.adamczyk@mass.gov
