What you need for WP11, 12: Groundwater Discharge Permit Renewals or Modifications
This permit is required for a renewal or modification for an existing non-industrial groundwater discharge regulated by MassDEP under an individual groundwater discharge permit (314 CMR 5.00); or for the renewal or modification of an existing reclaimed water system regulated by MassDEP under an individual reclaimed water permit (314 CMR 20.00). This serves to protect the public health, welfare and the environment through the control of pollutant discharges to the ground.
A permit modification or renewal with plan approval (BRP WP 11) consists of an engineering design approval and/or approval of any financial obligation changes. A permit modification or renewal without plan approval (BRP WP 12) consists of minor modifications to the existing permit conditions necessary to bring the groundwater discharge into compliance with current regulatory requirements.

Claim your Authorization
If you have an existing permit with the program not already linked to the EEA ePLACE Portal, you will first need to do one important step: Claim Your Authorization. This process will allow us to link your renewal or amendment application to your existing permit and confirm your identity. Once the program staff has reviewed and completed your claim request you will then be able to continue with your renewal or amendment application. Please note: You will not be required to upload anything in the Documents section.
