PITTSFIELDA Holyoke man pleaded guilty this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court to drug charges. 21 year old KEVIN M. SMITH a/k/a TERREL WILLIAMS and TERRELL DAVIS appeared before Judge John Agostini.

SMITH pleaded guilty to one (1) count of POSSESSION OF HEROIN WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE, one (1) count of CONSPIRACY TO VIOLATE DRUG LAWS, TO WIT: POSSESSION OF HEROIN WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE, one (1) count of POSSESSION OF COCAINE WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE and one (1) count of CONSPIRACY TO VIOLATE DRUG LAWS, TO WIT: POSSESSION OF COCAINE WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE. Judge Agostini ordered that SMITH serve concurrent 18 month sentences at the Berkshire County House of Correction.

The charges stem from the execution of a search warrant at 144 Brayton Hill Terrace in North Adams on December 6, 2016.

One (1) count of ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF A LARGE CAPACITY WEAPON, one (1) count of ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF A LARGE CAPACITY FEEDING DEVICE, one (1) count of POSSESSION OF A LARGE CAPACITY FIREARM, RIFLE OR SHOTGUN DURING THE COMMISSION OF A FELONY, one (1) count of IMPROPER STORAGE OF A LARGE CAPACITY FIREARM and one (1) count of POSSESSION OF AMMUNITION WITHOUT A FIREARM IDENTIFICATION CARD were dismissed at the request of the Commonwealth.

The investigation was conducted by members of the Dalton and North Adams Police Departments, the Berkshire County Sheriff’s Office and state troopers assigned to the District Attorney’s Office, members of the Berkshire Law Enforcement Task Force.
