Adult Education - Reference Guide to the Local Plan

This reference guide has been developed to support Adult Education bidders in responding to questions in the RFP that are relevant to local plan alignment.  Information in all sections of the local plan may be used to support responses to other questions in the RFP as appropriate.

Regional Data Packages/LMI Data and Survey of Adult Education Needs by Local Area

Bidders can use the data to understand the education needs of the region and employer needs for a skilled workforce.

Section II

Workforce Boards Strategic Plans

Bidders can use the Local Strategic Plans to find information on the local Board’s strategic vision for meeting the needs of the workforce area’s priority populations.

Section III

Local Area Umbrella Memorandum of Understanding

Bidders can use the information in the local MOUs to find information on the approach to adult education program services in the local area as well as integrated service delivery strategies for education and workforce services that support career pathways.

Performance and Participant Summaries

Bidders can use the local area participant summaries and performance goals to find information on ESOL/ABE participants served by the local workforce areas.
