DCMS Tip Sheet Volume 1 Edition 17 Do Not Reply

August 21, 2020

Why Can’t I Just Reply to The Deficiency Email Notice?

The Deficiency Notice is emailed from within our online application and when you reply to it you are sending the information needed by your Compliance Officer (CO) into the online application Support System (see the highlighted email address dcamm@gob2g.com). Responses forwarded to the Support System will at best be delayed in getting to your CO and at worst the information may not reach your CO at all. Support must vet the response, then forward it to the correct contact person. Sometimes the message sits with Support for hours/days before being forwarded to our office. If you have submitted attachments with your reply your CO is unable to access this information and therefore your application will remain incomplete and may possibly be closed for lack of response.

To avoid this possibility send your information directly to your CO. Compliance Officer contact information is located at the bottom of all communications your CO sends to you. (See the red box below).
