Since 1993, Henry Barbaro has served as the Supervisor of the Wetlands & Water Resources Unit, as well as the Stormwater Program, for the Environmental Services Section of the MassDOT Highway Division. Henry's experience includes developing the MassDOT Stormwater Design Guide and the EPA NPDES Stormwater Management Plan, as well as strategies for compliance with State and Federal stormwater regulations. Henry has an M.S. in Natural Resources Planning from the University of Vermont, and a B.S. in Environmental Science from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst.
After thirty-plus years with MassDOT, Henry is heading to retirement in November 2023. He has been a fantastic colleague, a friend to many, and an unforgettable personality for sure. Good luck on your future endeavors Henry!
