Real Time Travel Times

MassDOT is providing Real Time Travel Times for roadways in Massachusetts. This system also generates travel times for the variable message signs along select Massachusetts highways.

Data processed by the system is provided free-of-charge to authorized developers. Please use this form to request access to the GoTime Third-Party API.

Roadway Events

This is a feed of planned Highway Division roadway events. It does not include all roadwork in Massachusetts. It includes many construction, maintenance, and other events that may affect travel or traffic conditions on roadways.

Traffic Cameras

MassDOT Shares access to its traffic cameras with developers and third-parties via an API providing live JPEG imagery at the rate of 1 frame per 120 seconds. If you would like access to this API, please email our partners, TrafficLand. TrafficLand will respond and coordinate access to a unique API feed for your use.
