Important Information for Training Providers Registering Through TrainingPro

The MassHire Department of Career Service (MDCS) will review your application for the following to determine overall financial stability and programmatic capacity:
- Licensure, Accreditation, or Exemption from Licensure
- Non-Massachusetts based providers must appear on their home state’s Eligible Training Provider List (ETPL) or meet their home state’s equivalence of the requirements listed here
- No outstanding citations from the Office of the Attorney General, Fair Labor Practice, or Consumer Protection Division within the prior 5 years
- No willful or repeat violations issued by the U.S. Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)
- An active workers’ compensation insurance policy
- No State or Federal debarment
- Certificate of Good Standing from the Massachusetts Department of Unemployment Assistance (DUA)
- Certificate of Good Standing from the Massachusetts Department of Revenue (DOR)
Note: MDCS can remove your approved status anytime during the year if you fall out of compliance.
Regarding Licensing for the Office of Private Occupational School Education Through the Division of Occupational Licensure (DOL)
You are encouraged to reach out to the Division of Occupational Licensure as soon as possible regarding a determination as to whether you will need to apply for licensure as an occupational school, or if your training programs are exempt from licensure. On this page you can access the “Licensure Determination Form” under “Resources” on the right-hand side of the page. Please complete this form and submit it to the contact person listed at the bottom of the second page. If you have questions about this form, or the licensure determination process, please contact: occupational.schools@mass.gov.
It is important that you contact DOL as soon as possible in order to allow sufficient time for a determination and, if licensure is required, to submit a complete application.
Certificate of Good Standing from Department of Revenue (DOR)
A Certificate of Good Standing from DOR is required for Training Providers to meet DOR compliance.
