Job Posting: Intern - Administrative Assistant

This is a temporary position to begin in May and potentially end September 15th.

General Responsibilities include:

Office Tasks: Provide support to the Executive Director by organizing and maintaining files,drafting memos and correspondence, handling phone calls, and taking accurate messages.

Accounting: 

Assist the Executive Director in recording all records of Cash Disbursements andCash Receipts.

Member Services: 

Assist all members of the Retirement System with services including butnot limited to retirement applications, new member enrollments, and general questions.

Board Meetings and Reporting: 

Assist the Executive Director with monthly meetings of theRetirement Board by posting public meeting notices, preparing agendas, producing meetingminutes, and managing remote access to meetings.

*The responsibilities listed above are intended to illustrate the various types of work that the Administrative Assistant is expected to perform. The Administrative Assistant may be expected to perform any other duties as deemed necessary.

Compensation and Work Schedule: 

The hourly rate for this position is $20-23 per hour. 

The hours of the Attleboro Contributory Retirement System are listed below: 

Monday 8:00 am – 4:30pm 
Tuesday 8:00 am- 6:00 pm 
Wednesday 8:00am – 4:30 pm 
Thursday 8:00am – 4:30pm 
Friday 8:00 am – 12:00 pm
