MDDC State Plan

Every 5 years, the Massachusetts Developmental Disabilities Council sets goals and objectives for our work in a State Plan. The State Plan identifies areas of focus to improve the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Massachusetts.

2022-2026 State Plan

Goal 1: Advocacy and Leadership

People with developmental disabilities will lead and sustain self-directed lives through self-advocacy, family advocacy, and leadership.

Goal 2: Systems Change

More policies and practices will support people with developmental disabilities to have opportunities to lead full and productive lives in their communities.

Goal 3: Information, Education and Awareness

People with developmental disabilities and family members will have increased access to information and resources that can enhance their lives in their communities

Impact Reports

The MDDC's Impact Report gives a brief review of the organization's work towards meeting the goals of our five-year state plan, as well as an overview of the number of individuals we were able to connect with through our work.
