NOTICE OF ELECTION
Election Date: Friday, June 13, 2025
Time: 8:00 am to 6:00 pm
Place: Retirement Office 2nd Floor
274 Front St, Chicopee, MA 01013
PURPOSE
To elect the 1st Elected Member of the Chicopee Retirement Board accordance with the provisions of M.G.L. Chapter 32, 840 CMR 7.00.
TERM OF OFFICE
Effective July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2028
CANDIDATES/NOMINATION PAPERS
Members in service and retirees of the Chicopee Contributory Retirement System may qualify as a candidate by filing with the Chicopee Retirement Office a nomination paper or papers containing the signature and address of at least twenty (20) members or retirees of the Chicopee Contributory Retirement System.
Nomination papers are available at the Chicopee Retirement Office and are due no later than 5:00 pm on Tuesday, April 29, 2025.
ABSENTEE BALLOTS
Ballots will be mailed to all retirees. All ballots received by the Chicopee Retirement Office must be postmarked no later than 6:00 pm on June 13, 2025. Any ballots received after 6:00 pm or a later date do not qualify.
