To the members and retirees of the North Adams Contributory Retirement System:
Notice of Election
Election Date: January 30, 2026
Purpose
To elect a member to the North Adams Retirement Board in accordance with the provisions of M.G.L. Chapter 32, 840 CMR 7.00. Board members are paid an annual stipend of $3,000.00
Term of Office
Effective February 1, 2026 – December 11, 2028.
Candidates
Eligible candidates include all members in service and retirees of the North Adams Contributory Retirement System.
Nomination Papers
Any member or retiree of the North Adams Contributory Retirement System may qualify as a candidate by filing with the North Adams Retirement Board Office a nomination paper or papers containing the signatures and addresses of at least twenty (20) members or retirees of the North Adams Contributory Retirement System.

The last day to submit nomination papers is December 16, 2025.
Ballots
Ballots will be mailed to all active members and retirees.
