To the active, inactive and retired members of the North Adams Retirement System
Purpose of Election:
To elect a member to the North Adams Retirement Board in accordance with the provisions of M.G.L.
Chapter 32, 840 CMR 7.00. Board members are paid an annual stipend of $3,000.00

March 25, 2025, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Term of Office:
Effective March 27, 2025 – March 26, 2028.
Voters:
Members in service, inactive and retirees of the Reading Retirement System, with the exception of those receiving survivor benefits or non-contributory pensions.
Candidates:
Eligible candidates include all members in service and retirees of the North Adams Contributory Retirement System.
Nomination Papers:
Any member or retiree of the North Adams Contributory Retirement System may qualify as a candidate by filing with the North Adams Retirement Board Office a nomination paper or papers containing the signatures and addresses of at least twenty (20) members or retirees of the North Adams Contributory Retirement System.

The last day to submit nomination papers is January 31, 2025.
Ballots:
Ballots will be mailed to all active members and retirees.
