  • Submit a new leave request
  • Check the status of an existing case
  • Report intermittent absences
  • View all active and closed leave cases
  • Securely upload paperwork related your case

For the quickest support, select the option that best describes your request:

  • Option 1: Start a new request

Contact your Leave Liaison 

A Leave Liaison is a member of your agency’s HR department and is different from your case manager at OLPA. Your agency’s Leave Liaison will also support you during your leave with processes handled by OLPA, including:

  • Notifying you of any processes specific to your work unit or agency   
  • Coordinating your benefits or insurance needs
  • Support with payroll and timesheet coding
  • Clearing you to return to work at the end of a medical leave

The Office of Leave Planning Assistance (OLPA) is part of the Human Resources Division (HRD) and serves employees across the Commonwealth’s Executive Department. Our team is made up of fellow Commonwealth employees, just like you, ready to guide you through your leave options. We’ll work with you to explore what’s possible before reviewing and deciding on your leave request.
