MassDOT will actively engage the public and seek feedback throughout the project using the following methods:

  •  public meetings
  • key stakeholder and community briefings
  • information booths at City events
  • the online comment form
  • regular email updates

We want to hear from you!

We are using the latest public engagement technology on the Rourke Bridge Replacement Project.

The online comment tool allows you to:

  •  type in questions or feedback you have about the project
  • use the mapping feature to let us know where your comment applies
  • subscribe for project updates

Public Meetings

Public meetings will be announced on this website and through the project email list. Public meetings completed include:

Design Phase 

  • Public Information Meeting #01 - December 9, 2020 
  • Public Information Meeting #02 - February 7, 2023
  • Design Public Hearing - December 6, 2023

Construction Phase

  • Public Information Meeting #01 - July 15, 2025

Working Group

A Working Group comprised of local and regional stakeholders has met regularly through the preliminary design phase of the project.
