About the Roadmap to Traffic Safety Virtual Town Halls
Throughout the month of June, the Office of Grants and Research (OGR) will host a series of virtual Town Hall meetings to discuss the future of traffic safety in Massachusetts. These meetings will be focused on communities within Bristol, Hampden and Suffolk counties that are overrepresented in traffic crash data.
By engaging with members of these communities, OGR intends to solicit public input that will help inform traffic safety goals and strategies in our upcoming Triennial Highway Safety Plan. This plan will be submitted to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and guide traffic safety initiatives in the coming years. These listening sessions help fulfill NHTSA’s requirement that state agencies responsible for administering federal highway safety funds incorporate public input as part of their triennial plans.
We value inclusion and access for all participants. If you require accommodations, please contact us at least 48 hours prior to the Town Hall you registered for below at john.fabiano@mass.gov.
