Juvenile Justice Unit

Justice, public safety, education and community professionals working together to benefit at-risk youth

The Juvenile Justice Unit, consisting of an Assistant District Attorney and a Victim Assistance Advocate, handles prosecution of crimes committed by persons under the age of 18. The unit hosts Juvenile Justice Roundtables in north, central, and south county, which bring together school administrators, police officers, prosecutors, youth services and social services to share information for the benefit of court-involved and at-risk youth.
