The Mandated Reporter Commission, established by the Childhood Wellness Bill of 2019, held a public comment period and virtual public hearings on proposals before the Commission for consideration in making recommendations to revisions of the Massachusetts Mandated Reporter Law, MGL c. 119 §51A-B. The Commission produced a Report Seeking Public Comment: Proposals Presented to the Commission which detailed the issues the Commission is considering and sought public feedback on specific proposals.
During the public comment period from March 22, 2021 to April 21, 2021 the Commission accepted written commentary on proposals presented for the Commission’s consideration. Also during this time, the Commission hosted two virtual public hearings. Written commentary submitted for the Commission’s review during this time period is available via this webpage as are the recordings of the public hearings.
