MassHire State Workforce Board

MWDB works to connect employers with skilled talent and provide jobseekers with specialized training through MassHire Career Centers.

MassHire Workforce Development Boards create strategic plans to connect employers with skilled talent and provide jobseekers with targeted training programs through MassHire Career Centers. Sixteen (16) workforce boards across the state provide tailored support in workforce and economic development to each region.

Regional Workforce Planning

The Regional Plan Blueprints outline each region’s vision, mission, priority industries, occupations, and talent development needs. They demonstrate how workforce, economic development, education, and health services work together to meet the needs of both jobseekers and businesses across Massachusetts.

MSWB Committees

The Performance Committee develops and oversees strategies to enhance the workforce system’s capacity to support MassHire’s mission, vision, and values.

The Workforce System Modernization Committee provides oversight and guidance to the development, integration and deployment of the workforce IT system and ensures that the workforce IT system leverages modern tools, technologies, user-interface techniques, governance, and program management.

Committee meetings are open to the public. Visit the Open Meetings page for more information on upcoming committee meeting dates, times, and locations.
