PITTSFIELD — An Adams woman was arraigned this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court on several charges. 31 year old SAMANTHA L. BERNIER (3 Bellevue Avenue) appeared before Judge John Agostini.
BERNIER had not guilty pleas entered on her behalf on one (1) count of POSSESSION OF COCAINE WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE, one (1) count of CONSPIRACY TO VIOLATE DRUG LAWS, one (1) count of POSSESSION OF A FIREARM DURING THE COMMISSION OF A FELONY, one (1) count of ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF A FIREARM, one (1) count of ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF A LOADED FIREARM, one (1) count of IMPROPER STORAGE OF A FIREARM, RIFLE OR SHOTGUN and one (1) count of POSSESSION OF AMMUNITION WITHOUT A FIREARM IDENTIFICATION CARD. Judge Agostini released her on $500 bail.
The charge stems from the execution of a search warrant at BERNIER’S home on August 2, 2018.
The investigation was conducted by members of the Adams, Pittsfield and North Adams Police Departments, the Berkshire County Sheriff’s Office and state troopers assigned to the District Attorney’s Office, members of the Berkshire Law Enforcement Task Force.
