Cape and Islands — District Attorney Michael O’Keefe announced today that Cole Martin (DOB 1/31/2000) was arraigned on the charges of murder and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon in connection with the stabbing death of James Dean (DOB 1/26/1973), which occurred in Yarmouth on January 6, 2017.

Cole Martin appeared in Barnstable District Court today and entered pleas of not guilty to the charges. Judge Kathryn Hand ordered Martin to be held without bail and sent him for a mental health evaluation.
