News  Commonwealth of Massachusetts Notice to Contractors for Request for Proposals

Sealed proposals for a Contract for Publication of Official Reports are solicited by the Reporter of Decisions of the Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts.

BOSTON, MA — Sealed proposals for a Contract for Publication of Official Reports (Contract) are hereby solicited by the Reporter of Decisions of the Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts and the Massachusetts Appeals Court (Reporter) on behalf of the Commonwealth, pursuant to chapter 221, section 64A, of the General Laws. All proposals must be made on the proposal form prepared by the Reporter, and must provide a requirements response, qualifications information, references, and price quotations for the required services.

Publishers are requested to submit a single proposal for publication of the Advance Sheets in print or eBook format and of the printed Bound Volumes. An intention to submit a proposal must be submitted by August 29, 2025, and proposals are due by October 31, 2025.

The successful Publisher will be awarded the Contract by the Reporter to publish and sell the Advance Sheets and Bound Volumes.
