- Operational Services Division
The Operational Services Division’s (OSD) Compliance unit offers regulatory guidance to help Level III Executive Departments achieve and maintain compliance with procurement regulation 801 CMR 21.00 and related OSD policies and guidance.
OSD’s Director of Compliance, Camille Clarke, recently sat down for an episode of WOSD News to discuss the mission and goals of her team and share her advice for navigating compliance regulations. “Before embarking on a procurement, whether large or small, it is important that the procurement is fair, transparent, and in the best interest of the Commonwealth,” said Camille.
In state procurements, compliance is key to maintain transparency and accountability with the public. Following compliance guidelines throughout the procurement process offers several benefits, including streamlining operations by reducing ambiguity; minimizing human error; and preventing common missteps such as having inaccurate or incomplete records in systems like COMMBUYS, CLM, and MMARS.
