Boston — East Boston Probation employees joined with East Boston Savings Bank to collect winter clothing for children. The items were donated to the Salesian Boys & Girls Club of East Boston.

The cold weather gear—gloves, hats, and scarves—were presented as individually wrapped sets. The collection and donation of items. This is the first year of what will be an annual winter clothing drive, according to East Boston Chief Probation Officer Matthew McDonough.

“We in Probation and the courts are part of the community. This Winter Clothing Drive is our way of supporting and meeting the needs of youth and their families in the community,” McDonough said.
