Dennis Halls, Suffolk Superior First Assistant Chief Probation Officer, recently conducted a presentation on the Massachusetts Probation Service and MPS' "tools of the trade" before youth participants of the City of New Bedford's "Invest-In-Kids" Saturday Academy Program which is run by the Community Services Division of the New Bedford Mayor's Office. The children are ages 7-13.

ACPO Halls has been educating and sharing information about probation and the courts with program participants since 2010. On a recent Saturday, Mr. Halls demonstrated the equipment which included a Probation safety vest; Scram device, which measures alcohol; and GPS equipment.
