The FY25 cycle received the most applications in the program’s 9-year history. There were 140 total applications, representing 36 planning grants and 104 project grants and a total requested amount of $15,276,866.28. The budget was increased from $4M to $5M for FY25 to accommodate the growing number of applications.
“MOD is proud to provide municipalities with this vital funding,” said MOD Executive Director Mary Mahon McCauley, “which allows local communities to further realize the intent set forth by the landmark Americans with Disabilities Act – an accessible, inclusive world where people with disabilities can equally benefit from all the community has to offer.”
MOD extends its congratulations to all of the awarded communities.
