The Office of the Inspector General (OIG) issued the Procurement Bulletin, May 2019, Vol. 25, #2.
This Bulletin explores time-and-attendance fraud, waste and abuse. It discusses how to detect it and provides tips on how to protect your jurisdiction. Time-and-attendance fraud, waste and abuse takes many forms. For instance, it includes employees claiming to work hours they did not or intentionally failing to report the use of sick or vacation leave. We hope this special edition of the Bulletin helps you protect your communities against this type of fraud, waste and abuse.
