Probation Commissioner Pamerson Ifill was honored with a planted tree and standing plaque at Massasoit Community College’s Brockton campus recently.

Commissioner Ifill graduated from Massasoit in 1989. He later earned a bachelor's degree at Stonehill College and a master's degree in Management — Human Services at Brandeis University. Commissioner Ifill served on Massasoit’s board of directors as chairperson and as a board member.

The tree and marker are along a path that leads to the school's gymnasium and Field House. The inscription on the marker reads: "In Honor of Pamerson O. Ifill, A True Champion of Massasoit: Student, Graduate, Trustee."
