Rhonda Greene, a Probation Officer at Boston Municipal Court-Central division, joined with retired Massachusetts Probation Service employees, Ronnie Layne and Deborah Stead, at the Cambridge Community Center to cook and serve dinner to more than 200 people at the annual Senior Citizen Thanksgiving dinner.

Ms. Greene, Mr. Layne, a former Cambridge PO, and Ms. Stead, a former Waltham District PO, set 20 tables with 10 table settings each, and served a feast of turkey and gravy, stuffing, macaroni and cheese, peas and rice, green beans, cranberry sauce with pie for dessert.

“Volunteering at Thanksgiving allows me to say thank you for the blessings that have been bestowed upon me throughout the year. I always looked up to Ronnie and Debbie and their volunteer work. I want to maintain a positive image of Massachusetts Probation Service in the community that raised me.”
