Boston, MA — Massachusetts Commissioner of Probation Edward J. Dolan has named Yvonne Roland the new manager of Administrative Services, a senior management position, effective on January 26th. In her new role, Roland will oversee the Personnel Department—including six employees—for the Massachusetts Probation Service (MPS).
As manager of Administrative Services, Roland will be responsible for management and oversight of MPS’ human resources and administrative office management. She will continue to help create and maintain a talented and qualified workforce.
A former Operations Coordinator in the Commissioner of Probation’s Office, Roland is a 30-year MPS employee who started as a File and Mail Room Clerk in the Commissioner’s Office in 1987. In the past three decades, she has held the positions of Data Entry Operator, Administrative Secretary, Administrative Assistant, Head Administrative Assistant, Office Manager, and Human Resources Representative. She was promoted to Operations Coordinator in 2006. Roland served in this position until she was appointed to her new positions as manager of Administrative Services.

Roland is a 2005 Curry College graduate where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice.
