Chapter 243 of the Code of Massachusetts Regulations, sections 3.01-3.14 requires all hospitals and Licensed Ambulatory Surgical Centers & Clinics to establish and maintain a qualified Patient Care Assessment Program that complies with the requirements of 243 CMR 3.00 et seq. and that has been approved by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Medicine.
