Betsy Isenstein

Deputy Commissioner of Facilities Management and Decarbonization

Betsy Isenstein currently serves as the Deputy Commissioner of Facilities Management and Decarbonization.  She joined the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) as the Director of Energy and Sustainability in 2017.

Betsy came to DCAMM from Tufts University where she was the Director of Facilities Technical Services focusing on strategic utility procurement, campus energy and utility systems, building automation, as well as energy, water, and solid waste reduction.  Previous to this position, she was the energy manager at Tufts.  Prior to joining Tufts, Betsy managed energy programs for General Electric Company.

Betsy holds a BS in Civil Engineering from Tufts and an MBA from Northeastern University.
