MassDOT Research and Technology Transfer program connects ideas to implementation by working across MassDOT, MBTA, universities, and industry partners:

  • Identifying and prioritizing research needs
  • Developing and managing research projects
  • Partnering with universities, agencies, and private firms
  • Supporting implementation of research findings
  • Sharing knowledge through training, publications, and outreach
