SI-24-10951 CERB RULING ON STRIKE PETITION AND INTERIM ORDER November 7, 2024 Beverly Teachers Association, Julia Brotherton, in her official capacity as President of the BTA, and Beverly School Committee. After holding a strike investigation in which the School Committee offered unrefuted evidence that the Beverly Teachers Association had held a strike vote and voted to strike on November 7, 2024, the Commonwealth Employment Relations Board found that a strike was about to occur and that the BTA, their officers, and Julia Brotherton, in her official capacity as President of the BTA, had induced, encouraged, and condoned a strike in violation of Section 9A of the Law.
