Self-Advocacy & Training

The MDDC offers trainings for people with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Through our peer-to-peer teaching model, each training series is interactive and designed to include a broad range of learning styles.

The MDDC Self-Advocacy and Training Team works with statewide Independent Living Centers, employment service providers, high school and post-secondary programs to provide peer training to self-advocates on a range of topics.
