EOHLC Adjudicatory Hearings Information

The Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities (EOHLC) holds adjudicatory hearings for public housing applicant appeals; emergency shelter appeals and relocation appeals.

The Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities (EOHLC) holds adjudicatory hearings for:

• public housing applicant appeals
• emergency shelter appeals
• relocation appeals

Adjudicatory hearings are governed by M.G.L. c. 30A Sections 10 & 11 and 801 CMR 1.00. The regulations contain a set of Formal Rules (801 CMR 1.01) and informal Rules (801 CMR 1.02). Most often DHCD hearings are conducted using the Informal Rules, but participants should review the Notice of Hearings for more specific guidance.
