The office of investigations of has established a "Tipsters Hotline", for citizens to anonymously report persons or businesses that they believe may be in violation of Massachusetts Workers Compensation laws. (MGL c. 152)

The recorded message line (877-627-7233) is located in the investigation offices of the Department of Industrial Accidents and is checked daily by unit staff.

Callers hear a recorded message, instructing them to leave information regarding the suspected violators.

Employers can get information on coverage requirements by dialing (857) 321-7560.

If you are calling within the 617 area code, or outside the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, can call 617-727-4900.

If you are calling within Massachusetts, but outside of the 617 area code, can call 1-877-MASSAFE (877-627-7233)
