The Baker-Polito administration is working hard to improve your experience with state government. To that end, EEA has been asked to identify our critical constituent-facing services and to track our ongoing efforts to improve their delivery. Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources (MDAR)

% of farmers' markets that accept Farmers' Market Nutrition Program benefits.  This program facilitates access to healthy foods throughout Massachusetts communities.	92% of all registered and eligible farmers' markets.	Target achieved - in FY17 230 out of 249 eligible farmers markets (92.3%) were certified to accept Farmers Market Nutrition Program benefits)

 

Department of Fish & Game (DFG)

Percentage of licensed hunters using mobile devices to report harvest of game.	5% year over year increase	Target achieved - Overall percentage for 2018 was 50 percent, a 5 % increase over 2017

 

Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR)

Department of Energy Resources (DOER)

# of municipalities provided with assistance to lower their cost of energy and emissions, provide clean energy infrastructure, and technical assistance to achieve their clean energy goals.	75 municipalities assisted	Target achieved - 141 municipalities received assistance in the form of Green Communities Grants, Municipal Energy Technical Assistance Grants, and LED Streetlight Accelerator Grants

 

Department of Public Utilities (DPU)

The Transportation Division shall reduce violations by towing companies.	15% decrease	Target achieved - The Department reduced violations as a percentage of total tow slips audited by 15% (from 64% in 2016 to 49% in 2017) (see spreadsheet attached for more detail).
