Application
Current job opportunities are posted on the OSA website. Please review the available job descriptions. If you have the required experience and education, follow the instructions for submitting your cover letter, application and resume. Please note that a cover letter is a required element of the resume submission. Your application, resume and cover letter should be submitted electronically via the MassCareers website at http://www.mass.gov/Masscareers unless specifically noted.
Scheduling an Interview
After the initial screening process, an OSA Human Resources representative will contact candidates who are selected for further consideration. Please keep in mind the competitive nature of this process and that many of our opportunities have specific education and experience requirements. If you are selected for an initial interview, you will be contacted to arrange a time for a visit to one of our offices. Before your interview, we will send you an email with information about our interview process and detailed directions to the interview location.
Interviews
Your interview will be conducted by a team from within the division to which you are applying. This is the opportunity to discuss your qualifications in detail, hear more about the OSA and the specifics of the job opportunity and ask any questions you may have.
Offer
If you are selected for the position, you will be presented with a formal offer, contingent on a satisfactory reference and legal background check. We will notify every candidate who comes in for an interview of our decision.
Hire and Orientation
Once you accept the offer, we will discuss your start date and orientation session, as well as requirements for completing our orientation program.
