Security Information

The purpose of this training template is to assist Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) service providers (MassHire Career Centers) with meeting the Federal requirements for the security of personal and confidential information received from individuals applying for or receiving services as participants through the WIOA or other funding sources. This document (and the accompanying training) is intended to provide guidance to MassHire Career Center management in dealing with data that federal guidelines classify as “Protected PII” or” Non-Sensitive PII”. Federal law, OMB Guidance, and Department and ETA policies require that PII and other sensitive information be protected. The template/training is designed to assist MassHire Career Centers with developing and implementing security protocols and best practices for handling personal identifiable information. Classroom PowerPoint training and policy template sharing is the objective. The attached is our existing best practices in information security protocols.
